China Import and Export Fair, also called Canton Fair, is held twice a year in Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957. It is China’s largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. Preserving its traditions, the Fair is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.

The fair is divided into 3 phases:

• Phase 1 (Apr.15-19, 2012)

Products: Electronics & household, electrical appliances, lighting equipment, vehicles & Spare Parts, machinery, hardware & tools, building materials, chemical products, international pavilion.

• Phase 2 (Apr.23-27, 2012)

Products: Kitchenware & tableware, general ceramics, cleaning products, general houseware, cosmetics and accessories, skin-care products, hair-care products and accessories, tooth care products, nail beauty supplies, bathroom products, clocks, watches & optical instruments, toys, polyresen crafts, jewellery, bone carvings and jade sculptures, marketing gifts and premiums, paper and wrappings, holidays supplies and decorations, party supplies & decorations, art ceramics, glass artware, weaving, rattan and iron arts, home decorations, gardening products, furniture, stone and iron products (outdoor).

• Phase 3 (May 1-5, 2012)

Products: Textiles & garments, shoes, office supplies, cases & bags, and recreation products, medicines, medical devices and health products, food & Native Produce and animal by-products.
